On this week’s episode, Mookie bedazzles us with the unbelievable but true tale of the Russian Cinderella, Marina Udgodskaya who won the Mayoral race in Povalikhino, Russia without even running and Erica discusses the questionable choices of treasure hunter Tommy Thompson who has been incarcerated for the past five years without breaking the law.

Never Get Too Comfortable

When the mayoral incumbent of Povalikhino, Russia, Nikolai Loktev needed another candidate to run against, he asked the person cleaning the office to stand in. But much to his surprise, Marina Udgodskaya WON! Now, at 35, she’s trading in her cleaning apron for a politician’s suit.

A Golden Prison

Treasure hunter Tommy Thompson was commissioned to find a sunken ship carrying golden treasure in the 1980’s. Find it he did! But when it came time to inform him 161 investors and turn over the booty, good ole Tommy skipped town for 30 years. He was eventually pulled from hiding and shipped from Florida to face his investors. But then Tommy forgot how to speak the words that would divulge the location of the estimated $500 million in sunken gold. So a judge slapped him in jail until he figures out what those descriptive words are…
